Copa Libertadores Guide on Futbol Libre 2

Clubs from across South America qualify through their domestic leagues and cups. A group stage sends the top two from each group into the round of sixteen, while third placed teams drop into the Copa Sudamericana.

From the last sixteen onward, two legged ties decide everything until the final, which is played as a single match at a chosen stadium. Away goals no longer separate level ties, so penalties decide the closest contests.
